My Journey

After studying and experimenting with various techniques and disciplines, I was ready to shape my own signature style. Around 1995, I came across the barcode. I became fascinated by its abstraction and the hidden information within its coding. The seemingly simple vertical lines concealed an unexpected complexity, and that instantly captivated me.

 

How did it start

That fascination drove me to start working with it.
In my art, I have blended this abstraction with realism and fiction, creating stories that reflect the developments of our time.

This is how the barcode became the foundation of my art.
As we know, the barcode will be replaced by the QR code in 2027. Naturally, this transition has also found its place in my work.

 

What Subjects Do You Paint?

My subjects are highly diverse, including groundbreaking developments like AI, current trends, fashion, climate change, and science, actually everything that inspires me and is present in my surroundings.

 

What is your goal

Creating is my passion and painting is my tool to translate the world onto a canvas.

Beyond that, I aim to use self-reflection and current themes to connect people. My intention is to unite art with social awareness and spread positivity.
I believe that together, we can create a joyful society. With that mindset, I choose to share my profits with underprivileged children, creating meaningful and memorable moments for them.

 

How do you look back to your journey.

Over the years, I have developed a completely unique style and shaped my signature. I am proud to see that people recognize me as the woman of Barcode Art.
